TERMS & CONDITIONS

BOOKING.
All bookings will be confirmed by telephone.
All bookings once confirmed are subject to a £20 non-refundable deposit payable within 14 days.
All confirmed bookings MUST be cancelled by telephone no later than 48 hours prior to your cat’s stay, if no
longer required.
If insufficient notice cancellation is given, Bellhouse Cattery reserves the right to charge the full boarding fee.
Unless by prior arrangement, all deliveries and collections, must be made between cattery hours (Mon-Sat
9.15am-11.15am/Sun 11.00am to 1.00pm). Owners are urged to transport their cats in an adequate, secure
basket or carrier between home and cattery.
Payment in full is to be made upon collection, except for the Christmas period (early booking advised)
whereby full payment is required 6 weeks in advance.
HEALTH
All cats MUST be neutered.
Cats will be examined upon arrival and Bellhouse Cattery, reserves the right to refuse admission to any cat
showing signs of ill health pending the advice of a veterinary surgeon.
Please be advised that for some cats, coming into a cattery can be a stressful experience. This can have an
adverse effect particularly on the elderly or sick cat.
All cats MUST have a valid certificate of immunisation against Feline Influenza, Feline Calicivirus (FCV), Feline
viral Rhinotracheitis (FVR), Feline Enteritis (FIE) and Panleukopenia Virus (FVP). All vaccinations need to be
boosted annually, please bring your certificate with you, as your Cat CANNOT be accepted without it.
In order to safeguard our guests, it is a requirement that all cats have been treated for fleas and worms prior
to arrival.
COSTS
Rates are per day, including arrival and departure days.
Double daily rates apply to all Bank Holidays/public Holidays.
Daily rates cover heating, bedding, litter and insurance.
All cats MUST be neutered.

Rates do not included meals; please bring your own food as each cat has its own special dietary requirements.
INSURANCE
Whilst all possible care and attention will be given, cats are boarded entirely at the owner's risk.
Cats boarded at Bellhouse Cattery are fully covered by Pet Plan insurance. However, those with a pre-existing
medical condition will NOT be covered
The proprietor of Bellhouse Cattery has the owner's authority, to the extent the proprietor considers
necessary and at the entire cost to the owner, to seek treatment by a veterinary practitioner, including visits
by such practitioner to the cattery, the administration of medicine, anaesthetic and surgery.
